Can I pick up from your warehouse?

No, we are strictly an online store and at this time we do not offer this facility.

Can I talk to someone on the telephone?

We are strictly an online store and as such do not offer a telephone service at this time. We do, however, welcome your queries, comments and feedback. To contact a member of our team please email Customer Service and we will endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours on business days.

How do I know what size to order?

Costume Illusions is aware of the importance of correct fit. To help you out, we’ve provided size information for each product based on information from our manufacturers & suppliers, which will help you decide the size that is right for you. Please be aware that fancy dress costumes are rarely a “perfect fit”. If in doubt between two sizes, we suggest you order the larger size. Please note, choose carefully as we cannot exchange or refund based on size or colour choice.

How long does it take to deliver my order?

We endeavour to process your order within 24 hours of receipt on business days. We ship your goods within Australia using Australia Post’s express post delivery service, or outside Australia using Australia Post’s regular international parcel service. Delivery time will vary depending upon where you live and your local service. See Delivery Policy for further information.

Can I return any part of my order?

Yes, we do accept returns on some items. Please see our Returns Policy for further information on what we accept and don’t accept, and how to initiate a return.

Do you hire costumes?

No, we are an online retail store only. We do not hire out our costumes. At Costume Illusions we believe our prices are so competitive that in many cases it will be cheaper for you to purchase one of our costumes, rather than hire from somewhere else! And the advantage of buying instead of hiring a costume is that it will be yours to keep forever, to reuse at a later date, or to swap amongst family and friends!

Why does my costume look different to the image on your website?

Occasionally manufacturers will change an item without notice. Unfortunately this is outside our control. We update our images and costume information on a regular basis and are in constant contact with our manufacturers & suppliers to ensure we bring you the most up to date information available.

Can I have my order shipped to an address other than the billing address?

Yes, you may purchase items from our store and have your order shipped to an address that is different from the billing address. Just specify that at checkout.

How much do you charge for delivery?

For deliveries within Australia we charge a flat rate of $14.95AUD, regardless of weight or destination. For deliveries to New Zealand we charge a flat rate of $24.95AUD. For deliveries to Singapore or Hong Kong we charge a flat rate of $35.95AUD. For deliveries to the United States we charge a shipping fee of $45.95AUD for orders up to 3kg. For orders over that weight we will advise if any additional shipping fee is payable. If so, such additional fee must be paid prior to the order being shipped. We do not deliver to other countries at this time.

Can I pay for my order by cash or cheque?

No, at this time we only accept payment via PayPal. You can pay for goods using your own PayPal account, or by Visa or Mastercard, via an encrypted payment site.
