Why to buy a costume rather than hire one…

There are many advantages to buying a costume rather than hiring one for your special event or party. Costume Illusions, being a ‘virtual’ store, does not have the huge overheads that a bricks and mortar establishment might have, and as such we have been able to keep our prices low.

In many cases, it is actually cheaper to buy one of our costumes than to hire one from somewhere else.

All our items are brand new, straight from the manufacturer and never before worn by anyone else. So the quality of the item you buy will most likely be much better than one that gets hired out then re-washed over and over.

Not only can you save money on the initial purchase, and end up with a new, high quality product, but you’ll also have a fantastic costume or accessory item that is yours to keep forever and perhaps reuse at a later date.

And if you don’t like the idea of wearing the same costume again, or you want a bit of a change, then why not pass it on to a friend or family member so they can share in the fun.

Even better, friends or family might have fancy dress items of their own that can be swapped with yours, giving you – and them – even more value for money!
